Widow support
Losing a husband in a rural community often means losing an income and a standing at the same moment. We provide small grants and trade supplies — a bag of grain to resell, materials for a stall — so a household has something that earns rather than something that runs out. Recipients stay on the food distribution list while their trade steadies.
Back to school
The start of term is when the shortfall shows. We supply uniforms, exercise books and basic materials to children in the households we already serve, so school attendance does not hinge on what a family could not afford that month. Support follows the child through the year, not just the first week.
Seasonal outreach
Need is not evenly spread across the year. We run larger distributions at the two hardest points — the lean weeks before harvest, and the festive season, when prices rise and attention moves elsewhere. These reach beyond our regular list into neighbouring communities.
Where
Rural Nigeria.
We work where we can come back. That limits how far we spread, and it is the reason families can plan around us rather than hope for us.
