Independent nonprofit · Rural Nigeria
We reach underserved families in rural communities with food support — and with the kind of consistency that lets a household plan.
At a glance
By the numbers
We would rather be known for turning up every month than for a number that impresses once.
Our approach
We would rather reach fewer people, and reach them again next month.
Rural communities chosen because they sit outside the reach of larger organisations.
Widows, older people, and households with a disabled member — those least likely to be counted.
Consistency is the point. Returning matters more than arriving once.
What we do
Each one begins with the same family. Food comes first, then whatever keeps that family standing after the food is gone.

Read moreSmall grants and trade supplies for women who lost a household’s income, so support becomes earnings rather than a one-off gift.
Read moreUniforms, books and basic supplies at the start of each term, so a child is not the one sent home for what a family cannot buy.
Read moreLarger distributions at the hardest points of the year — the end of the dry season, and the festive weeks when need is loudest and help is thinnest.

Five groups, named by the foundation itself.
Meals that are not certain
Young people in households where food is not certain from one week to the next. They are the reason the work started.
Income and standing, lost together
Women who lost a household's earnings and often its position in the community at the same moment.
Living without support nearby
Older people managing alone, or whose family has moved away to find work.
Barriers to work and transport
Households facing obstacles to earning, moving, and reaching services others take for granted.
Food goes first
Where money runs short, food is the first thing cut. We meet households at that point.
